“Krispie Crusher” is a new, fun, scary-good-but-sounds-spooky, and totally surreal riff on a Rice Lager…with Marshmallow…and Vanilla for good measure. Modeled and branded very similarly to a knockoff version of everyone’s favorite Krispy Rice treats. NO C&D TREATS FOR HALLOWEEN, PLEASE!
We took the same base recipe we’ve been using for our beloved “Guava Crusher” (@riverbendmalt with a touch of Flaked Rice and hopped with Perle) and before it got the Guava treatment, we swapped it out with heaps of Marshmallow and Vanilla for a confectionary little trick. Don’t worry! This is still a bone-dry Chippy Boi™ Lager you’d expect from DSSOLVR at its core! No extra sweetness was added! We’re not THAT crazy! For real, though, this one surprised even us.
Cold, crisp, and smooth as hell with an undeniably smooth balance of Marshmallow and Rice popping through on the nose and a perfect kiss of bitterness and Hop presence, all nicely accentuated by the drying character of the Rice. So rip open a package…er…crack open a can and find out for yourself!
