A SMOOTHIE TIKI CHEESECAKE FRUITED SOUR ALE?!
We took last year’s release “Zillions of Knives” that we whipped up with the Corn-Dog Loving Cowboys over at Two Tides Brewing, and decided to not only bring it back, but make it much weirder. So we moved the fruit to the Brite tank, and added in a boatload of Cheesecake and Cinnamon to really bring it all home in a Singapore Sling Tiki-inspired Smoothie Cheesecake Sour Ale.
Starting off with a base of Riverbend 2-Row, and a heavy dose of Oats and Wheat, with just a touch of Lactose to balance things out. Soured overnight in our Kettle, fermented with our House IPA yeast, and then conditioned on just straight up too much Pineapple, Dark Cherry, Sour Cherry, Tangerine, Lime, Cinnamon, and Cheesecake.
THICCC and Fruit Punch AF with Cherry and Pineapple battling to be first on the bill, then mellowing into a bit of herbal spice from the Dark Cherry and Cinnamon, and finishing up with a nice, tart kick of Clementine wedges and Lime peel. And of course, all of that is sitting on top of a perfectly pleasant wedge of Cheesecake. We’re very excited to have brought this back while ramping up our “Engine” series to a whole new level.
