A few months back, our former Cellarman/Brewer (and buddy) Mike Fuller left to go take the helm over at a new startup, Kite Hill Brewing. They happen to have their opening day on 7/4, so we wanted to brew a commemorative collab to celebrate this momentous occasion! “You’re Outta Control” is a DDH IPA, slam-packed with all Fuller’s favorite hops, and was carefully crafted to maximize crushability, for all those moments when you’re kayaking off a waterfall or jumping off a 40ft bridge.

Mashed with Riverbend 2-Row as the base, and a whole mess of Golden Naked Oats, Flaked Wheat, Dextrin Malt, and a touch of Brewer’s Crystals. Hopped on the hot side with Idaho 7, dry hopped once with more Idaho 7, and then dry hopped YET AGAIN with an out-of-control amount of Citra, El Dorado, Idaho 7, and more El Dorado Cryo and Mosaic Cryo than we’ve ever used before.

We experience huge waves of hollowed out Pineapples filled with Orange Juice, Clementine wedges in Mango gelato, fruit cups filled with Pear and Papaya, and a really beautifully balanced resinous finish perched perfectly atop a mountain of fluffy Oats. Dudes and dudettes, rip this shit. Get outta control. Whatever you do, please raise a pint for Fuller and Kite Hill. WE LOVE YOU, BUDDY! WHO’S OUTTA CONTROL NOW, FULLER?!
