We finally did it… “Wicked Engine” is a Pumpkin Spice Vanilla Cheesecake Kettle Sour. Yep.
Mashed with a base of Riverbend 2-Row along with Wheat, and Flaked Oats and a whole mess of Pumpkin. Soured overnight in our kettle with even more Pumpkin and a hefty dose of Lactose, fermented with our House IPA yeast and then conditioned on a huge wallop of Vanilla Beans, a tasteful blend of freshly ground Cinnamon, Nutmeg, and Allspice…and, of course, a tasteful amount of Cheesecake.
We experience a fat slice of Pumpkin Cheesecake with just the nicest kiss of warming Fall spices, a fat scoop of French Vanilla ice cream dusted in Cinnamon and Nutmeg, and a cozy little walk through some beautiful Fall foliage while sipping on a Pumpkin Cheesecake Sour. Yeah. It’s a liquid dessert. It’s also an Ale and there are no more rules for this stuff. Deal with it.
