Salted Citrus Ginger NEDIPA – 8% ABV

This started out as a wedding beer over two years ago for two of our very dear friends. Over a few too many drinks, we decided it was time to remake this absolute jammer, but in DIPA form. Thus, “𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐀𝐥𝐦𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐲 𝟔&𝟑” was born.

Mashed with a base of Riverbend 2-Row, and a melange of White Wheat, Flaked Oats, Flaked Rice, and Torrified Wheat and hit with a touch of Brewers Crystals. Whirlpooled with Mandarina Bavaria, freshly zested and juiced Oranges, Lemons, and Limes, a bunch of fresh Ginger, and a fat dose of Sea Salts. Fermented with our House IPA yeast, spunded for 100% natural carbonation, and then dry hopped with Cascade, and dry hopped a second time with even more Cascade, Citra, and Mandarina Bavaria. Ohhhhhh, baby!

Too many Orange Pez at once, a fresh glass of Tang poured into a bag of dried Mango slices, shoving too many Kumquats into your mouth at once, a pocket full of those little Ginger hard candies, and a nice finish of Citrus-laden salinity to round it out. This is the exact thing you’d think of for “Summer Poolside Crusher”, but like…in a fuck-you-up super-fruited, lightly-spiced, subtly salty, Old School meets New School DIPA form. Ya know?

Dangerously drinkable for 8.2%. While we recommend drinking this by some body of water, maybe go for floaties over operating a boat?
