After our latest West Coast Pilsner (“Tiger Fuzz”) collab with the homies @mtnlayersbeer, we knew we had to bring that one back around one more time. Except, with a twist!  We brewed this right after we got potable water back and Vince’s brain was still absolutely fried from it all, and he accidentally added extra base malt and Cane Sugar to the base beer, bumping up the ABV. So of course we had to ALSO increase the dry hop, and thus…”EXTRA Tiger Fuzz” was born!

Mashed with 100% @riverbendmalt, comprised of Chesapeake Pils and a dash of their Chit Malt. Hopped very heavily with Michigan Chinook throughout the boil (and a hefty dose of Cane Sugar…VINCE!), and then hit with some Sabro in the Whirlpool. Fermented low and slow with our House Lager yeast, spunded for 100% natty carb-o, and dry-hopped with a heavy-handed addition of Idaho 7 Cryo and a slathering of Pacific Sunrise. Then, obviously, laid down to rest in a Horizontal Tank for many moons.

We experience something akin to dipping a baguette into a bowl of Tangerine pith and Coconut Water with a lil’ dab of live resin on the side, some tropical fruit leather action, one of those Cuties Tangerines drizzled in some Papaya jam in a bowl of Frooty Pebbles (thanks to the addition of Idaho 7 Cryo!), and the feeling of cranking up the new Blood Incantations album while you shotgun a can of this deliciousness, promptly followed by a high five. CAN WE GET A HELLLLLLLL YEAH?!?!?

More bitter and fruity than a run-of-the-mill Pils, but with New-School hops and no grassy character, a noticeably more aggressive overall hop character, and definitely just as crushable and crisp as you’ve come to expect from our Chippy Bois™. Crank up the dial a little further than before and get ready to riff your way through a can or twelve!
