Our newest lager was crafted specifically to help us lay down a new framework for working with New-School German hops! We’re calling it a Nouveau German-Style Pilsner, and we hope ya dig it!
Mashed with Riverbend Chesapeake Pilsner and Chit Malt and pummeled with Hallertauer Mittelfruh hops throughout the Boil and Whirlpool, along with a heavy Whirlpool addition of Huell Melon for good measure. Fermented cool with our preferred Lager yeast, spunded for dat natty carb, and laid down to rest in a Horizontal Lager Tank for 6 weeks.
Notes of sitting on a nice and breezy Meadow with a fresh baguette in-hand, Soft, biscuity, floral, and a hint of malty sweetness that immediately falls to bone-dry, extra-crispy, CHIPPY BOI™ territory.
