“Emerge as Two” is a super far-out riff on our similarly named release last year, and we teamed up with the weirdest homies we know to make it happen, Hoof Hearted Brewery. This time around, we went with a Toasted Coconut Chocolate Lemon Bar Imperial Stout. WEIRD IS AS WEIRD DOES, Y’ALL!
Mashed with a base of Riverbend Southern Select and a bevy of Roasted and Specialty Malts, boiled for arguably too many hours, and then fermented with a new-to-us Yeast (thanks for the tips, Hoofy Krew) before being spunded for dat natural carbonation. We then conditioned this whallop of a beer on mounds of Macaroon Coconut, Toasted Coconut, Vanilla Beans, Cacao Nibs from French Broad Chocolate, Cake, and juuuuuuuust a touch of Lemon.
Pretty much a Toasted Coconut Chocolate Lemon Bar in liquid form. You know what it is.
