We’re very excited to announce the next release in our “MORE” DDH IPA series. We’ll be releasing these on a regular basis, but each batch will highlight one hop varietal on top of a very solid backbone of Citra. For the next release, we’re highlighting Citra! How original, right?! Each of these releases will feature the exact same Malt base and Citra treatments throughout, but rather than adding in another hop, we just ramped up the Citra all the way!
“MORE:Citra” is comprised of a base of @riverbendmalt Cumberland Pilsner and 2-Row Base Camp, along with a very hefty dose of Riverbend Oats and Chit, and a dusting of Flaked Oats. We then pummeled the Whirlpool with Citra, Citra Cryo pellets and hot-dipped the Fermenter with Citra Dynaboost. Fermented with our House IPA yeast, dry-hopped first with more Citra and spunded for 100% natural carbonation, then dry-hopped a second time with MORE Citra and Citra Cryo.
We experience Hop-saturated and refreshing waves of fresh Cutie Clementines in a freshly-mown field, chugging a dangerously-fast Orange Julius straight to the dome, something like a Mango Skittle if that was a thing, probably a yellow ice pop or three, and definitely a fair amount of dank resin to round it all out. Hoppy, fruity, bold, and balanced. Saturated, babayyyyy!
