“Mango Sticky Riot” is a Smoothie-Style GF Sour, modeled after Mango Sticky Rice, and whipped up in collaboration with our Michigan brethren, @homesbrewing. Those crazy Northerners know a thing or two about Fruited Sours. With all their fruit acumen, we really wanted to push ourselves outside our comfort zone, and the results are seriously whacked out in the best way possible. The response was an INSANE smash-hit on the first batch, so we changed nothing and scaled it up so we (hopefully) don’t sell out so fast this time!
We did something inconceivable with this one, and we actually made hundreds of pounds of Sticky Rice with Coconut Milk. We then conditioned the GF Sour base on that homemade Sticky Rice, tons and tons of thick and pulpy Mango, Brown Sugar, and Coconut Cream. This is so on-the-nose, it’s laughable. This just tastes exactly like a fat scoop of Coconut-laden Sticky Rice with some fresh Mango wedges on top. Fruity, starchy, sour, tropical, thick, and delicious. Bingo, bango, bongo, y’all.
