Is it a bird? Is it a plane? NO! IT’S A “LITTLE WIZARD FROG”, our newest DDH Hazy IPA!
Mashed with a base of Riverbend Malt, as always, comprised of Chesapeake Pilsner, Czech Pilsner, Oats, and Chit Malt, along with a HEFTY amount of Flaked Oats to give an amped up and luscious body, hit on the hot side with Egger’s Riwaka alongside Mosaic Cryo in the Whirlpool and then hot-dipped in the FV with Ekuanot Prysma, dry-hopped with Egger’s Motueka, and then double-dry-hopped with EVEN MORE Egger’s Motueka, a fat dab of Superdelic, and a chef’s kiss of Crystal for dat sticky top-note.
Notes of dank Cantaloupe, Raspberry compote, icky-sticky candied Lemons, Blueberry fruit leather, and a bit of the dank-weed-meets-breakfast-cereal vibe. Right, we all know that one?
It’s been a hot minute since we’ve used Crystal in a hoppy beer and dang, do we miss the way it works to help highlight everything else! Just a slew of our favorite hops in a magical little froggy hazy!
