“Imperfect Twins” is an Extra Special Bitter brewed up in collaboration with the sweethearts at Odd Colony Brewing. We’ve known Brett Schweigert for some time now, and knew that we shared an affinity for lil’ Pub Ales, so this was a total no-brainer.
Mashed with a very simple grist of Riverbend Southern Select and just a kiss of light Crystal malt, and then absolutely pummeled with Challenger hops before fermenting out with our Pub Ale yeast, spunding for 100% natural carbonation, and then chilled to perfection. In all fairness, we only sounded it to Cask-level carbonation, and then topped it up for cans and distribution. So we’ll have it on Cask here, all warm and flat-like and perfect, but you can also find it around town and take it on the go! Don’t you worry one bit! We got you, dawg!
We experience a Bran muffin with a pinch of unsweetened Orange Marmalade, a spot of Black Tea, a lovely dew-soaked walk in the woods, and slamming a few pints at the DSSOLVR bar.
