“Furb-field” is BACK AND BETTER THAN EVER, and here to tell you that Mondays might suck, but week-long heat waves are probably a little bit worse. This is a collab we did with our besties @twotidesbrewing and @floatcoffee, but retooled with the addition of Pistachios, and amped way way up.

We wanted to come up with something that would highlight the @floatcoffee brand of super tasty beans. We’ve long been fans of their kooky adjunct Coffees, and share a love of Long Furbies and a hatred of Mondays, so obviously a Pistachio Caramel Macchiato Brown Ale was born!

Mashed with a base of @riverbendmalt Southern Select, Chesapeake Pilsner, Munich, and Crystal Malt, along with a heavy dose of Specialty Malts from overseas. Hopped gently in the Kettle, and then fermented with our House Ale yeast before being spunded for dat natural carbonation. We then conditioned this bad ditty on a great big pile of freshly-roasted Float Coffee beans, injected some house-made Float Coffee cold brew concentrate, a fat dose of Caramel, a veritable mountain of Pistachios, and a tasty little kiss of Vanilla. 

We experience a big ol’ body that’s simultaneously thicc and balanced, huge waves of fresh-brewed Coffee, roasted Pistachios and Cacao Nibs (DUBAI CHOCOLATE AGAIN, ANYONE?!), those little Caramel treats your Grandma used to just inexplicably have lying in a bowl in the living room, probably a Cow Tale candy or four, definitely a Caramel Macchiato on a Sunday morning, and most likely some big hugs from good friends while a creepy Garfield-Furbie hybrid monster covered in Pistachio Butter just chills out in the background.
