“Fate” is a brand new Porter, and we’re quite elated about it. Some might say we’re hype, because it marks the return of Cask Ale to our taprooms. No cap. Available on Cask via Hand-pump in the taproom, and normal-human-levels of carbonation elsewhere on draft and in the can. We took the base of our Sci-Fi Soldier Coffee Porter and re-tooled it to ramp up the Oats and round it all out. Why did it take us so long to make a normal Porter?! 

Mashed with a base of @RiverbendMalt Southern Select and Oats and a medley of @proximitymalt Roasted Malts, hit very aggressively with Fuggles hops on the hot side, fermented low and slow with our House Ale yeast, and spunded for 100% natural carbonation on Cask, before being bumped up to normal carbonation levels for draft and cans. 

Notes of a super soft blend of Earl Grey and Hot Cocoa at Sunset, rich and chocolatey smells of someone baking brownies in the near vicinity, maybe some Whole Wheat toast with Nutella, and of course…slamming a few pints with your buds in our taproom.

Plus, the beer is, like, pretty good or whatever. We’ll put it into a quick Untappd-style review for you: “Best Porter we’ve made by quite a long shot. Perfect on cask. 2.5 stars, will prob make again.”
