King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard is releasing a new album, and you know what that means! This time around, we ramped it up a notch, just for YOUUUUU!

ALL HAIL “EXTRA BOOTLEG LIZARD WIZARD”, a Double Dry Hopped riff on our fan-favorite WCIPA made in collaboration with @pinkbootssociety (and in adoration of @KingGizzard and all things RAWK-N-ROLL) with the killer graphic from @cygoodies.

Mashed with a simple base of 100% @riverbendmalt, comprised of Chesapeake Pilsner and a touch of Chit Malt. Hopped heavily throughout the boil with Vic Secret, and then hopped in the Whirlpool with a smattering of Centennial. Fermented with our House IPA Yeast, spunded for natural carbonation, and Dry Hopped first with a very heavy charge of Pink Boots Hop Blend and even more Michigan Centennial, then Dry Hopped a second time with Columbus Cryo and Galaxy Terpenes.

We experience a pungent melange of Resin-meets-Citrus-meets-Pineapple, a strong and assertive bitterness with a BIG and CLEAN fruity finish, Orange rinds dipped in Orange marmalade and Blueberry compote, and a really pleasant dankness that lingers juuuuuust long enough. Not quite as long as the riffs that King Gizzard is dropping, but we’ll let you be the judge of that. The same as it ever was, just with the dank-tropical notes cranked up a little higher.

Did we originally brew this beer to celebrate King Gizzard coming to AVL? Yes. Do we think it helped to conjure up a new album? Idk, maybe. Do we really think we needed an excuse to bring it back? Absolutely not!
