Drink Full and Descend – Coconut IPA (Collab w/ Eurisko)

We’ve been buds with the Eurisko Beer Co crew for years, and we really wanted to take a stab at revamping our last Coconut IPA collab, so we did just that! “Drink Full and Descend”, a beautiful DDH Vanilla Coconut IPA, took the base idea from our last few collabs, but turned it up a notch or four. More body, more coconut presence, more hoppy awesomeness, probably a few more Twin Peaks references. We had no idea where this revamping would lead us, but we had a definite feeling it would be a place both wonderful and strange.

Mashed with Riverbend Malt Cumberland Pilsner and a WHOLE mess of different Oat Malts, hopped in the Whirlpool with Mandarina Bavaria, and fermented with our IPA yeast. Dry hopped once with BRU-1 and a smattering of Vanilla Beans, and then dry-hopped a second time with Sabro, Ekuanot, and Citra Lupomax to really make this baby sing. Then, because that wasn’t enough, we conditioned it on a stupid amount of Coconut.

We experience a wave of macaroon coconut candies doused in fresh Pineapple juice, a stunning bouquet of fresh frosting on a Coconut cake with a fruity Orange-Papaya glaze, a nice balancing dankness, and a bounty of clues about a possibly haunted woman and her secret life.

This is the water and this is the well. Drink full and descend. The horse is the white of the eyes, and dark within.
