We had the homies from Living Waters Brewing back out to brew another collab destined for barrels (SO…MANY…BARRELS…) and had a little left over, so we decided to whip up a few variations on the base beer!
“Caressed by Memories” is an Imperial Baltic Porter, coming in right at 10% ABV. Mashed with a base of Riverbend Malt Southern Select and a melange of Specialty and Roasted malts. Hopped assertively in the kettle, then fermented low and slow with our House Lager yeast. We racked the base into 3x different kinds of fun barrels for future projects, and then transported the remainder into a smaller tank where it was allowed to Lager for over two months until it was juuuuuuuuuuuust right. We then bottled and kegged some of the base beer before splitting it in two and throwing just a truly asinine amount of adjuncts at each.
