ALL HAIL “BOOTLEG LIZARD WIZARD”, our newest WCIPA made in collaboration with @pinkbootssociety (and in adoration of @KingGizzard).
Mashed with a simple base of 100% @riverbendmalt, comprised of Chesapeake Pilsner and a touch of Chit Malt. Hopped heavily throughout the boil with Columbus, and then hopped in the Whirlpool with a smattering of Michigan Centennial. Fermented with our House IPA Yeast, spunded for natural carbonation, and Dry Hopped only once, but very heavily with a fat charge of Pink Boots Hop Blend and even more Centennial.
We experience a nice melange of Resin-meets-Citrus, a strong and assertive bitterness with a big fruity finish, Orange rinds dipped in Orange marmalade and Blueberry compote, and a really pleasant dankness that lingers juuuuuust long enough. Not quite as long as the riffs that King Gizzard is dropping, but we’ll let you be the judge of that.
