What the heck is a “Fruity DDH Hazy IPA”, you ask? Well, let us take a peek through our newest release, “A Window Into the Future”, as we explore some cool new hop products with a slight style deviation that we find fun! For this style, we’ll be utilizing hops that play along with a new hop-oil-derived product from @haas_hops called Euphorics, where they process hops and botanicals, strip out the aromatics and oils, and then build them back up to emulate specific flavor profiles. So instead of hops clashing with artificial flavorings, it enhances the hop profile and you can tailor that to be complimentary or diverging, depending on which varietal of Euphorics you use. PRETTY COOL, RIGHT? 

Mashed with a base of Riverbend Malt, as always, comprised of Chesapeake Pilsner, Czech Pilsner, Oats, and Chit Malt, along with a HEFTY amount of Flaked Oats to give an amped up and luscious body, hit on the hot side with Nectaron and Nelson Sauvin Cryo in the Whirlpool and then hot-dipped in the FV with Citra Dynaboost, then dry-hopped with Dolcita, and then double-dry-hopped with EVEN MORE Dolcita and Nectaron, along with a very hefty dosage of Hypnotropic Euphorics, meant to emulate tart berries, tropical fruit, and cantaloupe..

Notes of dank Cantaloupe (lol duh), a mixed candy bag of Berry Hi-Chews and Sour Peach Rings, bright Cutie Clementine oil right when you pierce the flesh with your thumb, dried Mango from Trader Joe’s (how is that the best kind btw?), and a noticeably elevated Peach-meets-Tropical top-note that’s an unmistakable Hop vibe.
