IT IS BACK YET AGAIN AND IT IS DECIDEDLY BETTER AND WE ARE FRICKIN PUMPED! “The Hustle is Broken” is returning, with (once more) a few more tweaks to the process. Now that we’ve learned a thing or two about clear hoppy beers, we’ve really enjoyed bringing this one back a few times to make sure our process changes are moving in the right direction. Good news: THEY STILL ARE! And now we’re going to designate the more malty-orange hued and old-school, citrus-dank, classic C-hop-focused, clear IPA’s as “American IPA” within the “Hustle” series. So that’s…cool? Honestly, giving some distance between “American IPA” and “West Coast IPA” has been a small tinkering project internally here for a while, and we’re excited to finally lift the veil and bring back the HUSTLE.

Mashed with @Riverbendmalt Chesapeake Pilsner and Chit, along with a very tiny percentage of high-kiln Crystal Malt for color and complexity. Hit HARD on the hot side with Columbus and Mosaic and then hot-dipped with Cascade Prysma, fermented low and slow with our American Ale yeast for maximum dryness and spunded for dat natural carb. Dry hopped one time (but aggressively) with Mosaic, and Estate-grown Crosby Centennial, and a fatty dab of Estate-grown Crosby Centennial CGX.

Notes of Grapefruit pith in a coniferous forest, Blueberry muffins in the shade, gleaming the cube after a good spliff, and that first righteous pint of Torpedo you had from way back when.

It is clear, it is malty, it is orange, it is bitter, it is dry, and it is dank. Hell yeah. Shred that gnar gnar. GOD DAMN! We’re so glad to breathe life back into this brand. As always, the label was crushed by the one and only @jade.o.lantern!
