In celebration of the upcoming Southern Lager Invitational, we bring you the perfect vessel for the Mexican Ashtray treatment of Chamoy-and-Tajin-rimmed goodness: a Mexican Corn Lager dubbed “Ceni Cero: Gold”.
Mashed with a simple base of 100% Riverbend Malt comprised of Chesapeake Pilsner and their new Kingdom Corn Malt, along with a kiss of Chit Malt. Hopped ever-so-gently with Huell Melon, then fermented with a proprietary Lager strain sourced from Virginia by the yeast lords Bootleg Biology. Spunded for that natural carbonation we all know and love so much, and Lagered to peak crispness.
Pairs perfectly with a rim of Chamoy and Tajin, maybe a Lime wedge if you’re feeling frisky. Try it out at DSSOLVR! Or really any bar that’s pretty rad if you ask nice enough and they happen to stock this bad lil’ ditty. GET AFTER IT!
This was made with as much local flavor as we could cram into it, with Appalachian Malt AND Appalachian Yeast to help celebrate all things Southern Lager.
