In case you missed it, we’ve decided that stoner holidays shouldn’t last for one day, so all month long we’re releasing stoner / fast-food-inspired beverages and a WILD riffed out menu in the kitchen. And so we roll on with “Ocean Mist”!!!!
Everybody knows the famous fast food chain with the “Ocean” soda, right? The chain named after the Hedgehog? Wait, it isn’t the Hedgehog’s burger chain?! It’s totally unrelated?! My childhood is broken…
“Ocean Mist” is our newest Gluten-Free Fruited Sour, and we’re trying a new “Soda Style” with this one, in collaboration with our friends Wild Heart Brewing. When your friends invite you to their super badass beer fest (Come see us next weekend 4/11 at Wild Hartsville Beer Fest!), and then you end up bonding over weird beers you never made, and both end up saying one of those beers is a fast-food-specific Soda comprised of Sprite and Coconut and…Blue. Well…if all those things happen then you HAVE TO make one!
This mind-bending bevvy was conditioned on a straight up monsoon of Lemon, Lime, Coconut, Coconut Cream, and…Blue. This is easily one of the most “nail on the head” riffs on a food item we’ve done in quite some time. Also this is easily the most sweet GF Sour we’ve done…so…it tastes EXACTLY like the real thing.
We really couldn’t be more happy with how this turned out and we’re really excited to keep exploring this weird “Soda Style” space a little more. MASSIVE THANKS to our homies @wildheartbrewing for having the faith in us to execute on this vision and for making the time to come hang out while we blended the final product. That crew is a bunch of human gems and we are so happy with the final product, please go pay them a visit whenever you can!
