“My Little Coconut” is a Hazy Coconut IPA and was one of our very first collaborations in AVL, originally brewed by @euriskobeerco many many years ago. Since then, we riffed on the style with them a few different times. Then, a few weeks ago, during our first year hosting Twin Peaks Day celebrations now that Eurisko has closed, everyone kept asking if we were going to bring back the original beer. In typical DSSOLVR fashion, our timing was for shit, but WE DID INDEED BRING THIS BEER BACK! HUZZAH!!!
Mashed with a base of @riverbend Chesapeake Pilsner and @proximitymalt Oat Malt, aside a smattering of Flaked Oats for maximum creamy goodness. We then hopped it generously in the Whirlpool with BRU-1 and tossed in a truly excessive amount of freshly-pressed Orange Juice and fresh Orange Zest. We then fermented it with our House IPA yeast and spunded it for natural carbonation. It was first dry-hopped with a kiss of Sabro, and then dry-hopped a second time with even more BRU-1 and Sabro to max out the creamy-citrus-coconut vibes before being conditioned on a mammoth amount of Coconut.
We experience truly deafening overtones of Coconut Cake just straight up sloshed with a Super Soaker of Orange Juice, hit after hit of some extra fruity pre-rolls, and a surprisingly dank finish to remind you that this is, in fact, an IPA
