We’re very excited to announce the next release in our “MORE” DDH IPA series. We’ll be releasing these on a regular basis, but each batch will highlight one hop varietal on top of a very solid backbone of Citra. For the next release, we’re highlighting a new-to-us hop, thanks to our pals @eggershops: Motueka! Each of these releases will feature the exact same Malt base and Citra treatments throughout, but we’ll sub out the other Hop for something fun and exciting! 

“MORE: Egger’s Motueka” is comprised of a base of @riverbendmalt Cumberland Pilsner and 2-Row Base Camp, along with a very hefty dose of Riverbend Oats and Chit, and a dusting of Flaked Oats. We then pummeled the Whirlpool with the first dash of Egger’s Motueka, along with a baseline of Citra Cryo pellets and hot-dipped the Fermenter with Citra Dynaboost. Fermented with our House IPA yeast, dry-hopped first with more Egger’s Motueka and spunded for 100% natural carbonation, then dry-hopped a second time with MORE Egger’s Motueka and Citra Cryo.

We experience Hop-saturated and refreshing waves of those little Lime wedge candies, Key Lime Pie straight to the dome, something akin to if Pineapples and Flintstones push-pops had a baby, maybe a hint of those green juices that were shaped like grenades and you had to rip the foil top off, and definitely a fair amount of dank resin to round it all out. Hoppy, fruity, bold, and balanced. Saturated, babayyyyy! Have we mentioned how much we love Egger’s hops?!
