“KAIJU 2” is here! This time it’s with a Coffee Pecan Brownie treatment! 

We started off with a base of @riverbend Southern Select, layered on a bevy of specialty and roasted malts, ran a vigorous boil for over 6 hours, and hit it with some Brown Sugar in the kettle to get the base of this THICCC Imperial Stout where we wanted it. We fermented it low and slow, cold-conditioned it for many moons, and then began the long and laborious process of further conditioning on a boatload of adjuncts. 

 

For the second Kaiju iteration, we went for more of a baked-goods treatment, and conditioned this on house-roasted Pecans, some fresh Dark Roast El Tigre Coffee from @cooperativecoffeeroasters, a legitimately insane amount of Brownie Mix, and a slathering of Caramel.

 

This “KAIJU” sat on a veritable mountain of adjuncts for a long while prior to packaging, and the result is pretty spectacular. Huge, thick, sticky Pecan Turtle Breakfast Roll up front, boozy-rich Coffee-soaked Caramel treats, and this is pretty much just a Mocha Praline Brownie made of Beer. AND IT’S BIG AND SCARY AND ALL THAT!

WARNING: We used copious amounts of actual Brownie Mix and Nuts and don’t recommend cellaring the cans. Keep it cold and drink it fresh, y’all!
