“It’s Getting Crowded in Here” is our newest DDH Hazy IPA, starring a stunner of a hop lineup: Egger’s Motueka, Talus, Citra Cryo, Citra Incognito, and Motueka Amplifire Oil.
Mashed with @riverbendmalt, comprised of Chesapeake Pilsner and a VERY heavy-handed dose of Wheat Malt and Flaked Oats, along with a high percentage of Chit Malt. Hopped in the Whirlpool with Egger’s Motueka and Citra Cryo and Hot Dipped in the Fermenter with Citra Incognito, fermented with our House Hazy IPA yeast and spunded for dat natty carb. Dry hopped first with Talus, and then dry hopped a second time with a monsoon of Talus, Egger’s Motueka, Citra Cryo, and a very fat dose of Motueka Amplifire Oil.
We experience a few of the following sensations: digging your finger into a Lime, some definitively dank herbaceousness reminiscent of ya boi Willy Nelson, a bit of the old Orange Julius razzle dazzle with a Lime Wedge jelly candy on the rim, a nice woodsy-citrus character from the Talus that pushes this in the best way, and something akin to what it would taste like if Papaya and Guava had a baby. We’ve been very happy with our latest hoppy creations and while that tap list DID get a little crowded (haha, get the name? WE GOT JOKES!), we hope you’ve been enjoying it as much as we have!
