Hey there, swampy pals! To prepare for Shrektoberfest we have ressurected “Hey Hey Yah Yah,” our first-ever Festbier, perfectly brewed for those chillier evenings creepin’ up on us. We took a big ol’ heap of 100% Riverbend Malt, mixed it up with Chesapeake Pilsner, Light Munich, Vienna, and Chit Malt (yeah, it’s a mouthful!), and then we got real hoppy with some Hallertauer Mittelfrüh. Our House Lager yeast worked its magic low and slow, we spunded for that natural fizz, and let it rest in our Horizontal Tanks for a good while.
What’s it taste like, you ask? Well, it’s like munchin’ on soft and savory pretzels, or takin’ a bite of a biscuit that got a little too toasty but still tastes mighty fine. You’ll feel that first crisp hint of Fall in the air and get a gentle smooch from some Noble hops. Malty, light, and oh-so-easy to enjoy, and don’t forget to join us Saturday September 23rd at 3pm for Shrektoberfest!
