“Dispersed Vectors” is our newest DDH Hazy IPA collab with our near and dear buds Ravenous Pig Brewing, whipped up to celebrate our annual Orlando Beer Week Beer Dinner. We honestly love Brad and Larry and the whole RPB crew, and have been itching for an excuse to go down another rabbit hole with Brad. As with all our collabs with this crew, it started with a simple question: “When was the last time we had a good Galaxy beer?” The answer: right fuckin now.  

Mashed with Riverbend Malt, comprised of Chesapeake Pilsner and a VERY heavy-handed dose of Oat Malt and Flaked Oats (over 30% of the grist), along with a high percentage of Chit Malt (15%). Hopped in the Whirlpool with Egger’s Riwaka and Citra Cryo and Hot Dipped in the Fermenter with El Dorado, fermented with our House Hazy IPA yeast and spunded for dat natty carb. Dry hopped first with Citra, and then dry hopped a second time with an absolutely punishing amount of the best lot of Galaxy we could find and a final dab of Citra Cryo for good measure..

We experience some of the following things: those infamous Tik-Tok frozen grapes rolled in sugar and Citric Acid, tiny whisps of Clementine like when your thumb first punctures the zest, a bunch of White Gummy bears dusted in Pineapple Pez, a melange of fresh-cut grass and those Lilikoi Passionfruit Aloha sodas, that extra-classic Galaxy zip (without the hop burn!), and maybe a little bit of another ticket to Kushtopia. Super crushable, undeniably drowned in Galaxy, yet also bright and dank. Galaxy is back, baby!
