“Flames Will Follow” is a Mango Habanero Blonde Ale that was dreamt up by our Production staff, in search of a tasteful balance between sweet, fruity, and spicy.
Mashed with a base of Riverbend 2-Row, and a kiss of their Vienna, as well as some Flaked Wheat. Fermented with our House Pub Yeast, spunded for dat natural carb, and then conditioned atop a mound of Mango puree and more than it’s fair share of freshly-processed Habanero Peppers.
Our Production team executed their goal very well, and thus we experience a beautiful balance of fruity and spicy, with a gentle caress of sweetness. Malty and rich, fruity and full-bodied, and a beautifully refreshing heat on the back-end. It’ll bring you right back to the IBU wars of yesteryear when every big brewery started slapping Habanero variants of their flagships all over the place (you know who we’re talking about) and then all the Nano breweries started following suit. We hope you dig this lil’ blast-from-the-past Summer Crusher as much as we do, y’all!
