“A Taste for Love” was dreamed up with the homies (and soon to be second-taproom neighbors!) Glass Jug Beer Lab in the hopes of bringing a tiny taste of Summer to this dreary time of year. And as a side benefit, What better way to do that than with a Watermelon Tajin Blonde Ale?! RIGHT?!
Mashed with Riverbend 2-Row, a touch of their Vienna, and a dash of Flaked Oats and hopped extra gently with Cascade. Fermented with our Pub Ale yeast, spunded for natural carbonation, and conditioned atop some tasty Watermelon and a tasteful dosage of Tajin seasoning (Chili-Lime-Salt for the uncultured). A simple Blonde Ale with hints of fruit and spice. Hell yeah!
Notes of a Blonde Ale with a floater of Watermelon and a slight rim of Tajin. More or less, it is that. Definitely NOT a fruited beer, but more a Blonde with a lil’ sumn extra. Get it.
As you may have noticed, we’re officially moving forward with our second taproom in Durham, NC. We’ve ramped up distribution in the area, and we’re going to be making a more concerted effort to increase our presence once construction is afoot. For now, keep those ears close to the ground and slam a couple cans of this, as more news is on the horizon!
