We riffed on a stylistic ditty of West Coast Pils a few months back, and we’ve been steadily itching to make a few very small tweaks and bring it back as a series! SO WE FLIPPIN’ DID THAT! OMG! NO WAY, BROTHERRRRRRRR!
And thus, the “FUZZ” series was born! Next up, we humbly present to you, “Lord of the Fuzz”!
Mashed with Riverbend Chesapeake Pils and a dash of their Chit Malt. Hopped very heavily with Cascade throughout the boil, and then hit with some Michigan Chinook in the Whirlpool. Fermented low and slow with our House Lager yeast, spunded for 100% natty carb-o, and dry-hopped with a heavy-handed addition of Michigan Copper and Mosaic Cryo. Then, obviously, laid down to rest in a Horizontal Tank for many moons.
We experience ripping into a Blueberry-drizzled baguette with a lil’ baby spliff on the side, some frozen Papaya replacing ice in your bong *AHEM* “WATER PIPE” *AHEM*, a splash of extra-juicy Orange wedges, slipping into something comfortable with Fu Manchu cranked all the way up while you shotgun a can of this deliciousness, probably followed a high five. CAN WE GET A HELLLLLLLL YEAH?!?!?
More bitter and fruity than a run-of-the-mill Pils, but with New-School hops and no grassy character, and definitely more aggressive hop character. And definitely just as crushable and crisp as you’ve come to expect from our Chippy Bois™. Crank up the dial and get ready to riff your way through a can or twelve!
