“Phantom Tiptoe” is a Hazy DDH IPA, and it’s pretty neat. We teamed up with the wonderful beauties at Good Word and 8th State ONCE AGAIN for yet another 3-way IPA collab. We wanted to go with a soft, fluffy body with an onslaught of hops in an approachable IPA format. Hey, good news: we did that!
Mashed with @riverbendmalt 2-Row and a medley of Golden Naked Oats, Flaked Wheat, a touch of Dextrin Malt, and Brewer’s Crystals for that little something extra. We hit it in the Whirlpool with Ella, fermented it with our House IPA yeast, dry-hopped it with MORE Ella, and then dry-hopped it a second time with Ekuanot, Cashmere, and Meridian.
We experience Grapefruit pith and Pineapple pulp, a bowl full of Honeydew Melon rind, dried Apricot rings, and a welcoming and firm bitterness with an Orange Tang sorta deal on the finish.
