One of our most asked questions over the last 4 years has been “Y’all got any Witbier?”. Yes, that is a real thing. Sometimes they ask for Weissbier or White Ale, but yeah. It only took us 4 years, but we listened, and now we are delighted to bring you “Noodle Eraser”, our very first Belgian Witbier!
Brewed with a 100% @riverbendmalt grist, composed of 50% Raw Wheat, 5% Flaked Oats, and 45% Pilsner Malt. Hopped gently with Huell Melon for a complex and fruity, yet decidedly noble complexity. Whirlpooled with a hefty volume of hand-processed Clementine Peel and Juice, and a touch of Coriander. Fermented with our very first Belgian yeast strain, spunded for natural carbonation, and cold-conditioned for a few weeks to really mellow it out.
We feel that this organoleptic sensation is similar to that first few seconds after you dig your thumb into a Lil’ Cutie Clementine, most people’s first Craft Beer experience, a cup full of Cream-of-Wheat with a single slice of Banana and a touch of Coriander spice, and an absolutely undeniable drinkability. We kept the phenols very tame on this, in an effort to stay true to style while maximizing approachability.
We’re so pleased we finally decided to venture down this path with y’all. Keep telling us what you’d like to see! We love hearing requests and we do take them all seriously. It probably won’t take us 4 years to experiment with some new stuff, too. Probably…
