“Livin’ the Moontime” is an American Pilsner showcasing Michigan Crystal. And yes, this is the next iteration (FINALLY, a new one!) in our Single-Hop, Single-Malt American Pilsner series. With this series, we choose an American Hop varietal to absolutely pummel into a Pilsner base to learn more about it and showcase its complexities.
And when we heard that Widespread Panic was coming to play at Harrah’s Cherokee Center, well…we knew what had to be done. So we teamed up with @magic.and.glory and they just killed this label. Massive thanks to the Panic fam for coming together to help us with this one!
Brewed with 100% @riverbendmalt consisting entirely of Chesapeake Pilsner and a kiss of Chit Malt. Hopped solely with Michigan-grown Crystal hops in the Boil and Whirlpool for maximum flavor. Fermented low and slow with our House Lager yeast and spunded for dat wonderful natty carb before being laid down to rest for a couple-two-tree moons in our Horizontal Lager Tanks. Hell to the yeah, y’all.
It’s quite similar to a fine cup of Orange Blossom Tea, a crisp high-five after jumping into the lake on a hot Summer day, freshly toasted Baguettes with sticky Orange Marmalade, a slathering of classic earthy-Pilsner tones with a bit of a fruity-citrusy-sappy flair, and wrapped up by a dry and crispy finish with a refreshing and pronounced minerality. It’s a Pilsner, y’all. You know what to look for and it’s “Livin’ The Moontime”.
