“JORTS” is our newest entry into the Southern Hemisphere DIPA game, and this time around we teamed up with our new neighbors and buds over at Durty Bull. Every year, they release a “Million Dollar Jeans” DIPA for their anniversary, so with that coming up and the Grand Opening of our Durham taproom coinciding…JORTS WAS BORN.

Mashed with a base of Riverbend Malt Pilsner and a medley of Proximity Malt Wheat and Flaked Wheat, hit very aggressively with Nelson hops in the Whirlpool, fermented with our House IPA yeast, and spunded for 100% natural carbonation. Dry hopped initially with a celebratory amount of Nelson Sauvin, and then dry hopped a second time with a pants-splitting wave of Wakatu, Ella, Galaxy, and Riwaka CGX pellets.

This one is absolutely rippin’ the legs off your pants with some of the organoleptic experiences similar to those Key Lime candy wedges, biting right into a Kiwi, Papaya sherbert scoops with a Passionfruit-Peach drizzle, and probably just a little bit of some totally radical dankness in there for ya.
